No permission needed
A collaborative exhibition exploring reclamation through a fusion of fashion, art, and photography.
Previewing during Women’s Art Week Palm Beach 2026
As women, we have been told what we can and can't do, how we should and shouldn't show up, that we're too much or that we're not enough. Through this collaborative series, we are reclaiming our right and space to express our authentic selves in our own way, with no permission needed.
This series consists of wearable art and fine art photography centered around the theme of reclamation.
Each look embodies a core principle—endurance, courage, Strength, self-worth, and transformation—translated into form through sculptural fashion and hand-crafted detail.
From a ball gown inspired by flowering cacti, constructed entirely from paper, symbolizing strength and the ability to thrive despite harsh conditions to an oversized paperdolly–style canvas dress paired with an exaggerated hat and bag, representing courage—bold, playful, and unapologetically visible, each garment functions as both object and statement, blurring the line between fashion and fine art.
Each look has been hand-painted by Kelle Marie and photographed by Elizabeth Palace with a shared conviction: to reclaim our right to take up space, to be seen, and to express our authentic selves freely—on our own terms, with no permission needed.
